Es muy curiosa la historia de esta canción, pues nade sabe a ciencia cierta quién la compuso. Sus dos versiones más famosas son la interpretada por los Animals en el 64 y la de Joan Baez.
Por cierto, según la versión, la canción puede ser interpretada desde la perspectiva de una mujer o la de un hombre.
Está situada en el puesto 122 de la lista de Rolling Stone de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos. Una duda tengo…si no se sabe quién la compuso pero es una de las mejores canciones, quién se llevará los derechos de autor? (fijo que hay alguien chupando del frasco…jajja)
